What I Offer
I teach guitar, piano, and songwriting. I offer online lessons to students based anywhere and lessons are available Monday-Saturday in the morning, afternoon, and evening. For students who are based in the Twin Cities Metro Area, I offer in-home lessons at your location or in-studio lessons at my home in the LynLake neighborhood of Minneapolis. Based on your preferences, lessons can be booked for 30, 45, or 60 minutes. If you have questions on specific scheduling needs, please feel free to contact me.
Guitar Lessons
I teach acoustic and electric guitar for learners ages 5 to adult. I am happy work with students of all experience levels from complete beginners through advanced players. My guitar instruction is focused on contemporary music and lessons are always tailored to the student's interests.
Piano Lessons
I teach piano for learners age 3 to adult. I am happy work with students who are beginners through intermediate players. My piano instruction blends classical technique and literature with selections from contemporary music. Lessons are always tailored to the student's interests
Songwriting
I teach songwriting to learners age 10 to adult. I am happy work with students of all levels. I help writers learn the craft of creating strong lyrics, melodies, and chord progressions. The real focus, though, is helping writers find their unique voice and explore the stories they want to tell in their original songs.
Adaptive Lessons
Learners with disabilities or those who may just need some accommodations in their lessons are welcome and encouraged in my studio. I have ten years of experience working with learners with disabilities and it is a passion of mine to assist this underserved and underrepresented population in achieving their artistic goals.
Rates
For online and in-studio lessons at my location, my rates are $30 for 30 minutes, $43 for 45 minutes, & $50 for a 60-minute lesson. These lessons can be scheduled at any time through my online portal or directly through me. In-home lessons at your location must be booked through me and scheduling options may be limited based on travel time. My base rate for in-home lessons is $65 for a 60-minute session. Adaptive lessons are billed at the same rate as all other services.
